Why Clean Seal™?

Improved Airflow

Improved Airflow

Clean Seal‘s patented sealing process eliminates leaks in your ductwork, even the hidden ones, ensuring a smoother and more consistent flow of air.

More Even Temperatures

More Even Temperatures

By optimizing ductwork efficiency, Clean Seal ensures conditioned air is properly distributed throughout your home, resulting in more even temperatures.

Enhanced HVAC Performance

Enhanced HVAC Performance

With leak-free ductwork, your HVAC system doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain your desired temperature, resulting in better system performance.

Better Humidity Control

Better Humidity Control

Clean Seal helps maintain optimal humidity levels, preventing mold and mildew growth for a healthier living space.

Reduced Energy Costs

Reduced Energy Costs

It is estimated that more than 50% of your energy costs are related to heating and cooling your home. Typical duct systems can leak between 25-40% so once the ductwork has been repaired and the air loss is reduced, you should see reduced energy costs. (Energy savings will vary based on leakage and sealing results.)

Sustainable Energy Usage

Sustainable Energy Usage

By improving HVAC efficiency, duct sealing reduces overall energy consumption and lowers carbon emissions, supporting environmental sustainability.

Our Process

Aeroseal - Duct Sealing
  1. Technician Arrival: A trained professional will promptly arrive at your home as scheduled, prepared to initiate the duct cleaning and sealing procedure.
  2. Initial Inspection: Guided by the homeowner, the technician will thoroughly examine the HVAC system and all register locations to assess the ductwork layout.
  3. Duct Cleaning Setup: The technician will meticulously arrange specialized duct cleaning equipment, ensuring your system is primed for a thorough cleaning.
  4. Sealing Registers: To prevent debris from entering your home, all air registers will be securely sealed temporarily during the cleaning process.
  5. Duct Cleaning: Utilizing a high-powered, whip-like cleaning tool, the technician will systematically clean each register and duct, eliminating accumulated dust, debris, and contaminants.
  6. Duct Sealing Preparation: After the ducts are cleansed, the technician will transition to Aeroseal technology, preparing the duct sealing machine for the next phase.
  7. Pre-Seal Diagnostic: A pre-seal test will be conducted to assess and document initial duct leakage levels, providing a baseline for the sealing process.
  8. Duct Sealing: Employing Aeroseal technology, the technician will seal the ductwork internally, targeting and eliminating leaks to prevent future air loss or contaminant infiltration.
  9. Post-Seal Verification: Following the sealing process, a comprehensive report will be generated, showcasing the effectiveness of the seal and the significant reduction in air leakage.
  10. Equipment Dismantling: The technician will disassemble the Aeroseal duct sealing machine and remove all seals from the registers, restoring your HVAC system to optimal conditions.
  11. Clean-Up and Review: Ensuring a tidy work area, the technician will pack away all equipment and review the completed job with the homeowner. They’ll provide the post-seal report and discuss enhancements in air quality and system efficiency.
  12. Completion: With the task successfully concluded, the technician will offer any final instructions or recommendations, ensuring homeowner satisfaction with the service provided.

FAQs

Yes! The Clean Seal process will ensure that air is properly and evenly distributed throughout the home. As a result, you will notice much more even temperatures. In fact, homes with temperature differences of up to 10 degrees have seen these reduced to just 1 or 2 degrees after sealing.

The Clean Seal process is recommended for holes less than 5/8 inches in diameter. Major leaks, such as broken, disconnected, or damaged ducts, need to be repaired before sealing. We typically identify such issues during our initial inspection. If we find these during the sealing process, we can pause the system immediately, inspect the problem area, and provide an on-the-spot solution before resuming the sealing.

Excess sealant may leak into areas where your air previously escaped, such as attics, garages, and wall cavities. This is harmless and will dry without issue. Our process includes filtering the air to ensure no sealant vapor escapes into your living areas.

Yes. Ducts made from all types of materials can be successfully cleaned after being sealed. Our formula is durable, remaining flexible and pliable over time.

We guarantee our work for at least 10 years, and stress tests have shown it can last up to 40 years in homes.

The drying time is relatively quick but can vary depending on the number of leaks and the size/length of the ductwork. Once the sealing process is complete, your HVAC system can immediately be turned on.
